Graffiti workshop Hambaken Netherlands
The project in the Hambaken district is now in full swing. Before the youth center is painted, the youngsters receive graffiti art lessons from Kings of Colors to introduce them to creativity. So cool to see the effect of making art together!
Hambaken Connect
In the Hambaken district, they discover their dreams and talents together with children and young people and guide them towards a good future.Hambaken Connect is an active volunteer organization in the Hambaken district. The activities usually take place in the Youth Center de Hambaken and are carried out by passionate volunteers.
Kings of Colors
The emphasis of Kings of Colors is on actively connecting with art, heritage and education. Street art is very accessible and they use that to introduce young and old to other art forms and to delve further into social themes. Kings of Colors builds bridges, provides platforms and paves paths to make social themes more accessible through street art.
Cooperation
Kings of Colors is the perfect party to bring the young people of Hambaken in contact with creativity and street art. The first meeting was watching the documentary Style Wars to teach children about the origins of street art. Now they discover step by step how nice, educational and healing it is to be creative. Niños de Guatamala
Niños de Guatemala is a wonderful foundation that has set up three schools for poor and underprivileged children, as the education in Guatemala is very limited and of low quality in many areas.
