Niños de Guatamala
Niños de Guatemala is a wonderful foundation that has set up three schools for poor and underprivileged children, as the education in Guatemala is very limited and of low quality in many areas. Classes are overcrowded, with as many as 100 children in one class, and the teachers are often young and inexperienced. At Niños de Guatemala, the quality of education is high and they put attention and effort into their creative education.
In the beginning of October, members of the board including 'friends' of Niños de Guatemala took a trip to see the beautiful Guatemala and to learn about what projects are being done there. Artist, Joos Vrijburg, gave an art workshop to the parents of the children that attend Niños de Guatemala. Royal Talens supplied the art materials that Joos took in her suitcase all the way to Guatemala!
The workshop was a fantastic success with a large turnout and lots of beautiful artworks were made. We’re so pleased that we can be a part of projects like these.

Jeff Olson: artist & art teacher
Jeff Olson is a US based artist residing in Seattle, Washington. Moreover, he is the Director of Art Education for Royal Talens North America. We are very fortunate and proud that he supports the values and mission of the Royal Talens Foundation.
