We hosted our very first Art Collection Tour!

On May 28th, the Royal Talens Foundation proudly hosted its very first Art Collection Tour through the historic Royal Talens building in Apeldoorn. This event was organized in collaboration with the Royal Talens Experience Centre and guided by our former colleague, Marianne Kraster, who previously was part of the art collection commission. Artwork in the photo by Merel Jansen; "The three Marys at the tomb of Christ".

The tour was a success according to the visitors! Many of our guests were already familiar with theRoyal Talens factory tours, where they would catch glimpses of the artwork hanging on our walls. This dedicated art tour offered them a chance to focus solely on the collection. Many of them expressed that they hope this tour will happen more often.

This event also served as a platform to introduce the visitors to the work of the Royal Talens Foundation. The participation of the visitors enables us to fund numerous NGO projects, because a part of the Experience Centre proceeds are donated to the foundation. In addition to the tour, we are currently offering a set of art collection postcards for sale at the Experience Centre, these are works in honour of the 125th birthday of Royal Talens. All proceeds of these sales will go directly to supporting our foundation’s initiatives, allowing us to continue our mission of supporting creative educational activities from charitable causes.

If you are ever in Apeldoorn, check out one of the activities from the Experience Centre: Royal Talens Experience Centre (royaltalens-experience.nl)
