Encouraging creative development

IMC Weekendschool introduces young people to different future possibilities, helping participants develop their preferences, talents and life skills. The response of the students showed how access to creative activities can encourage further exploration. One participant who had previously found creative assignments difficult became deeply engaged in painting, continued asking when the group could paint again and wanted to take the finished artwork home immediately to show it to the student’s parents. By providing creative materials, the Royal Talens Foundation supported an accessible learning experience in which students could experiment, express themselves and share their work with others.
