The HOPE Foundation’s efforts to support conflict victims
The HOPE Foundation’s efforts to support conflict victims

The past year has been marked by intense violence, suffering, and heartbreak in various conflict zones around the world. We want to emphasize that we stand with all victims in a conflict and support organisations that help these victims when needed.

Small moments of joy

Even in current conflict in the Middle East, it’s important to remember that children and innocent people are still trying to live their lives. Organizations like The Hope Foundation help ease their pain. They provide enriching activities, like setting up a cinema in a refugee camp or encouraging kids to paint on broken stones. These small moments of joy bring relief to those who need it most.

We support organizations like the HOPE Foundation, which work hard to bring hope and happiness to those living in conflict areas. The Hope Foundation aims to empower children in these areas to build meaningful lives by offering creative lessons in art and culture. Although it is challenging to continue their regular workshops during these trying times, they strive to adapt and make these programs work as much as possible.

The team in Gaza continues to persevere despite everything. The Breakdance Academy, the Academy for Young Talent, and the traveling project for mothers and children by Mohammed Shurrab are ongoing, along with Cinema in the Camps, Art and Stories in the Camps, and Hope on the Street. The Edward Said Conservatory has completed a wonderful summer project. Whenever possible, the participants are provided with food and water.

Winter is coming

Unfortunately, winter is just around the corner. This is a great concern. In addition to the lack of food and a significant shortage of medicine, there are too few (waterproof) tents, insufficient winter clothing, and not enough blankets, leaving people unprotected.

HOPE is doing what they can both there and here. Curious about how you can support? Check out their website!
