Sunny Gallery: Celebrating children’s creativity

The Royal Talens Foundation recently teamed up with the Urtica Foundation for a heartwarming project called Sunny Gallery that brought joy and creativity to children in oncology wards. Earlier this year, we donated a variety of art materials to support the Urtica Sunny Gallery’s workshops, allowing young patients to create beautiful artworks.

Urtica for Children Charity Gala

Our Royal Talens colleague Marta Węglowska had the honor of serving on the jury for the Urtica for Children Charity Gala. Alongside representatives from the Museum of Architecture, the Wroclaw National Museum, Ossolineum, and other esteemed organizations, Marta helped select around 200 outstanding artworks from a pool of 1000 submissions. These selected pieces will be featured in the gala catalog and auction, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of the young artists.

The gala is a celebration of the children’s artistic achievements and the collaborative efforts of all involved. It will be a heartwarming event that underscores the importance of art in healing and the positive impact of community support.

Urtica for Children: Supporting Young Cancer Patients Across Poland

The Urtica for Children Foundation started in 2017, but it’s been around for 27 years as part of Urtica Sp. z o.o., a big hospital drug distributor. They focus on helping kids and young people with cancer and their families.

Since 2017, they’ve been running projects that were originally part of Urtica’s CSR initiative, “Urtica for Children.” The foundation supports health, education, and charity efforts. Right now, 18 children’s oncology and hematology wards in Poland benefit from their help.
