Painting for Peace: A Mural to Remember
Painting for Peace: A Mural to Remember

Spain | Art isn't just beautiful; it's also incredibly important for expressing oneself, especially for kids. That's why we were thrilled when our colleagues from Royal Talens Spain introduced us to Associació Sociocultural Ateneu l'Empelt. With our support and that of Royal Talens Spain, they organized a wonderful collaborative mural event.

Letting their voice be heard

Children, parents, and local artists came together to paint a mural for peace. They started by working on squares and silhouettes that the children could add their own touches to. They drew their own hands, painted flowers, and more, expressing their longing for peace. Throughout the day, they enjoyed plenty of tea and delicious snacks!

About the organisation

Associació Sociocultural Ateneu l'Empelt is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting social and cultural activities that make a difference in their community. All of their activities aim to build connections and stand against discrimination, advocating for social justice. They collaborate with the community and local artists. With their efforts, along with support from partners like the Royal Talens Foundation and Royal Talens Spain, they continue to inspire positive change through creativity and community involvement. This event was made possible thanks to @entremans8 and @ateneulempelt.
