Creativity for underpriviliged children in Haarlem Netherlands
This project takes place in a poor area of Haarlem where the Moroccan community is large. Many of the children do not come into contact with art here.
Art classes for children
In autumn 2020, the first lessons were given by a professional art teacher
The input for the lessons by children has been central in this.
The purpose of the organized workshops is twofold.
The first is to introduce children in the neighborhood to visual art. In addition, training at least three committed volunteers from the Moroccan Association so that they can independently organize visual arts workshops in the future.
A real exposition
In exposition centre "Het Wereldhuis" there would be an exhibition with the works made by the children. Corona made this an online exhibition.
After Corona
As soon as the Corona Lock down has been lifted, they will start the second series of visual education lessons. This project was made possible by the donation of our materials.

Niños de Guatamala
Niños de Guatemala is a wonderful foundation that has set up three schools for poor and underprivileged children, as the education in Guatemala is very limited and of low quality in many areas.
