Exactly 100 years ago, SAKURA was founded in Japan, named after the beloved Japanese cherry blossom, a symbol of fragile beauty and the highest possible quality. The ultimate pursuit of perfection - also known as Monozukuri in Japan - has been consistent in SAKURA's colouring and writing materials since 1921.

We are celebrating SAKURA's 100th anniversary with a creative competition in which you can win a trip to Tokyo in 2022. Or you could be one of the lucky entrants to win one of the three great prize packages in our monthly raffle. You can enter every month! Curious about how? Read on.

Japan is an iconic country and an inexhaustible source of inspiration! We challenge you to create art in a dazzling competition in which you share your view of Japan with us.

Every month, we select 3 winners of a SAKURA prize package worth €150.
