Use the printed PDF as a support to draw the grid. Use the HB graphite pencil to do this. You can also use a ruler to make your own grid as shown in the video.

Start sketching the samurai. Again, you can use the PDF as an example to determine shapes and placement. Divide the helmet and other parts into rough shapes and add more and more detail.

The application of multiple layers creates shadow effects and more depth in the drawing.

Take the Pigma Micron and use it to add more detail and contrast.

Use the light warm grey Gelly Roll Moonlight to draw the lines on the background.
