Little personal gifts are the best, right? But what's better it to make it even more personal with your own handmade gift tag! In this easy step by step plan we will show you how to make the gift labels, using decoupage and a technique anyone can do.

Sturdy paper of at least 200 grams
Talens Art Creation Decoupage gloss
A few beautiful Talens Art Creation Textile silk dyeing colors. Here we used the Golden Yellow / Bold Pink / Turquoise Green
Ecoline pipette
Painter's knife
Tear-off pallet
Scissors, ruler and a pencil

Step 1

Mix some silk paint into decoupage

Apply a layer of decoupage to your paper with your painter's knife. This can be irregular. Then, add a few drops of silk paint in it.

Step 2

Mix with a palette knife

Mix the silk paint through the decoupage with the painter's knife to get a marble effect. Let it dry overnight. Then, cut the label from the paper.

Step 3

Finishing touches

Sketch a number of stars and cut them out. Stick this on your label. You can also add any other decorations such as glitter or bows. Now you are ready to write a name on your label, enjoy!
