Turn a cork coaster into a message board - Royal Talens

What you need

  • Talens Art Creation Beton paste
  • Talens Art Creation Metallic
  • Palette knife
  • Soft brush
  • Tape
  • Cork coaster
  • Clips
  • Cardboard notes

Tips

  • The Beton paste dries completely in 24 hours. After use, clean the palette knife and soft brush immediately with water
  • For decorative purposes only; make a clipboard, bulletin board or a coaster for accessories. Don’t use with hot pans, etc.

Step 1

Use the tape to divide the coaster into separate areas.

Step 2

Apply a layer of Beton paste to one of the areas using a palette knife. Take off the tape immediately; don’t wait for it to dry. Once the Beton paste has dried you cannot remove the tape anymore and the beton layer might break. Let it dry for 2 hours.

Step 3

Use the tape to divide another part of the coaster.

Step 4

Shake the metallic paint before use, and add to the coaster using a soft brush. The paint dries in 10 min. Take off the tape immediately or once the paint is dry.
