125 years of Rembrandt

Rembrandt stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of artistic expression and the pursuit of excellence in the world of fine art materials. This story began 125 years ago when Marten Talens founded the Royal Talens company in 1899. The decision to associate the brand with Rembrandt was not arbitrary; it was a deliberate choice to align the products with the values of dedication, artistic skill, and excellence embodied by the great master himself.

Over the decades, the Rembrandt brand continued to refine and expand its product line, introducing a wide range of high-quality art materials, from oil paints and soft pastels to watercolors, brushes, and paper. The brand quickly gained recognition for its commitment to using only the finest pigments and binders, resulting in materials that artists could trust to bring their vision to life. Meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail became synonymous with the Rembrandt brand.
