Malen mit Ölfarben

Ölfarbe ist eine Farbsorte, mit der sowohl deckend als auch transparent gearbeitet werden kann. Mit Ölfarbe kann sowohl nass-in-nass (d.h. Farben mischen auf der Palette und auf der Leinwand), als auch in Schichten (nach der Trocknung der vorhergehenden Schicht) und lasierend (in sehr dünnen, transparenten Schichten) gearbeitet werden. Charakteristisch für Ölfarbe ist der sichtbar bleibende Pinselstrich.
