Product description
Van Gogh's masterpiece Flowering Plum Orchard (after Hiroshige) is the perfect link between Japanese brand Sakura, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and Van Gogh, who was inspired by Japanese prints. Van Gogh created three paintings based on Japanese prints from his own collection, practising the use of colour and the style of the Japanese printmakers. The four selected colours of the fineliners are inspired by the colour palette of the painting and are amongst the most popular shades for writing or illustrating.
Contents: four Pigma Micron 05 (0.45mm) fineliners in orange, red, brown and black.
About Sakura Pigma Micron
- Sakura’s Pigma ink was the first ink in the world in which pigment and water were combined. This ink has since become the standard for reliable, permanent and archival quality ink.
- Although it was originally developed as a technical drawing instrument, Pigma fineliners are now used by technical professionals, in research laboratories and by creative artists for numerous applications.
- The unique Pigma ink will not bleed through paper, and is permanent, waterproof, fade-resistant, quick drying and pH neutral.
