Inspiration and influences

Fine art taught MITSUME the power of a single image: the kind of overwhelming presence that can stand entirely on its own. Manga and anime introduced another important dimension to his work, showing him the value of accessibility and emotional connection through art that people can relate to and integrate into their everyday lives.
