Alpay's relationship with Rembrandt

Alpay's relationship with Rembrandt began a few years ago, rooted in the sponsorship of one of his well-attended workshops. This partnership blossomed into the development of the Modern Portrait set, designed to meet the needs of the artistic community.

Alpay emphasised, "I use Rembrandt products because of their quality and reliability. The pigments are rich and vibrant, offering excellent blending capabilities with a smooth application. Their commitment to quality aligns perfectly with my artistic values." 

Creating with the Modern Portrait Set

As a young artist, Alpay strives to produce contemporary-looking paintings. He explained: "Some colours simply cannot be mixed and need to be available in their pure, highly saturated form. The Modern Portrait set provides those specific colours, ensuring that artists have the tools to create bold and striking portraits that reflect a modern aesthetic." 

Encouraging bold experimentation

Alpay encourages artists to experiment boldly with the set. "The highly saturated mono-pigmented colours allow for a wide range of mixing possibilities, perfect for adding depth and intensity. I envision artists using these colours to create vibrant, contemporary portraits. I hope people will be bold with their colour choices and not afraid to experiment.
