Herb garden

If your mom is into gardening or cooking, you can craft her a little herb garden. Cut planks from an old wooden pallet and assemble a crate. Paint it with Indoor & Outdoor paint and let that dry for 30 minutes. Then, paint on some labels with Blackboard paint. This way, you can write on the labels with chalk and change it again if you plant new herbs. Finally, cover the inside with root cloth and fill it with your mom's favourite herbs!

Mother's Day cards

Once you've DIYed your gift, why not also DIY the card to go along with it? Colour the card with watercolour using your mom's favourite colours. Tear some napkins with nice designs into pieces and add them to the card using decoupage. Finally, use coloured pencils for a finishing touch and it's all done!
