De Meermakers, Haarlem (The Netherlands)

De Meermakers, Haarlem (The Netherlands)

Tuesday, January 25, 2022

De Meermakers, an art foundation in Haarlem is an initiative from the Moroccan community, for children who have fewer opportunities to come into contact with creativity.

The volunteers of the Meermakers organize workshops for these children, including materials from the Royal Talens Foundation! After the lockdown in the Netherlands, these workshops can finally start again. Portraits, collages and many more beautiful works of art will be created!

Thanks in part to the donation from the Royal Talens Foundation, the workshops can be held for only 1 euro per lesson! The group consisting of children from groups 5 to 8 will be able to make wonderful things with this and also get the opportunity to get in touch with creativity!
