Art Classes at CasaSito Guatemala

Art Classes at CasaSito Guatemala

Monday, March 14, 2022

I just got back from a more than amazing trip to Mexico and Guatemala. I visited education projects where a lot is done with creative expression. I understand again why the work we do is so important.

CasaSito for example. This organization ensures that 110 children from the poorest communities continue their education. In addition to scholarships, she developed an accompanying program so that the children develop optimally. And creative expression is a big part of this. Every week the youngsters receive art classes from a professional art teacher. Last week I saw with my own eyes how much fun the children enjoy expressing their creativity!

Here, the art teacher at CasaSito Guatamala explains the enormous positive impact that the art classes have on the children.
