At Royal Talens we are deeply saddened by the loss of life and very worried about the impact on the civilian population and the stability in the world by the conflict in Ukraine.
We see creativity as one of the most powerful human assets. Creative expression by drawing, painting and colouring has the power to make the world a better place. Sadly, this positive force is no longer available for the creative and peace-loving minds in three countries. Our distributor in Ukraine was forced to close its business and we have suspended the export of our products to Russia and Belarus since the start of the conflict. Our thoughts go out to all our business partners and their employees who did not start this conflict but will be affected anyway.
The humanitarian disaster in Ukraine is indescribable as we hear from our employee who managed to flee the country and has been warmly accommodated by the help of our colleagues at Talens Poland. In addition, the Royal Talens foundation is simultaneously working through our international network to offer support wherever they can and will focus on this during the months to come.
All of us at Royal Talens do our part in helping where we can and we call to end this conflict and hope that peace, human rights, and the international rule of law will prevail.
