Brushes
Each technique calls for a different brush. Naturally, you have your own preferences.
Different types of brushes are suitable for thin or thick paint. If you are working with thick paint, a stiffer brush is recommended: a hog-bristle or 'selected filament' brush. With a bit more thinned paint, a red sable or an ox hair brush is best. These absorb moisture better.
