Granulating colours

The particles of the pigments used in Rembrandt granulating watercolours tend to cluster and collect in the deeper layers of the paper. This results in a characteristic grainy effect. Granulating colours are indicated with a G on the colour chart and packaging. Our range of dusk colours offer a more extreme granulating effect. These dusk colours are dark granulating colours with a bright undertone.
