Beautiful gifts for Afghan refugees Netherlands
Last Tuesday, we were approached by the New Day Impact Foundation, an organization for development cooperation. About 800 Afghan refugees have settled in the refugee center Harskamp in the Netherlands in the last few weeks, including many children.
New Day Impact
New Day Impact had been asked to do something for these children in order to give them a warm welcome. The idea was to put together backpacks with small things to play with and get creative with.
300 backpacks!
Both Promohouse as the Royal Talens Foundation indicated that they would like to participate in this fantastic initiative! 300 backpacks were filled with pencils, erasers, sharpeners, a sketchbook and colored pencils from us.
Super fast action
We are proud of the excellent cooperation between the various organisations. Everything was arranged within 2 days.
A smile....
The filled backpacks were collected and distributed by New Day Impact on Friday September 3. It was special and moving to put a smile on the faces of hundreds of children. A small initiative that has such a big impact!
