Join artist and Rembrandt ambassador Lucas Nadel (Noty Aroz) for a monthly online workshop and discover how a sketchbook can become your space to experiment, learn and create. Whether you're just starting with watercolours or already have experience, each session focuses on a new topic and practical techniques that you can immediately apply in your own work.

Upcoming Workshops

Each workshop takes place on the first Wednesday of the month from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (CET). Every session explores a new creative subject and helps you develop your watercolour sketchbook practice.

Wednesday, 2 September | Monochrome Magic

Discover how much you can create using just one colour. In this workshop, Lucas will show you how to work with a monochrome palette through a series of practical exercises. Explore values, layering, textures and shading while discovering the expressive possibilities of a single colour.

After each workshop, share your finished sketchbook page on Instagram using #rembrandtsketchbook.

Lucas will select his favourite entries, and three participants will win a Rembrandt watercolour prize related to that month's workshop.

The winners will be announced approximately two weeks after each workshop.

Meet Lucas Nadel

Lucas Nadel, also known as Noty Aroz, is a contemporary artist based in France. Through his multidisciplinary practice, he explores storytelling and creativity across a range of artistic mediums. In these workshops, Lucas shares his passion for watercolour sketchbooking and encourages artists of all levels to experiment, learn and enjoy the creative process.

What you'll need

Lucas demonstrates using Rembrandt Water Colours together with a watercolour sketchbook and a few essential brushes.

To join the workshop, we recommend having some watercolour, brushes and paper ready so you can paint along.
