Purple shades to inspire you

The August palette focuses on expressive purples, great for showing your feelings and thoughts on canvas. Violets come in many shades, with red or blue tones, and many are made with just one pigment for bright colour. Most violets are transparent or partly see-through, which makes layering easy. When you mix them with white, you get soft pink and lilac colours. You can also try mixing violet with yellow for some surprising new colours.
